The Tonight Show 12.12

Published by mcnally1 under The Tonight Show Edit This

Last night, I watched the Tonight Show. The monologue was great. I am glad that Jay Leno is still going to be on NBC. His move to prime time is such a great idea. I will enjoy watching  him at 10 pm next year. One of his guests was Jamie Foxx. I really like Jamie Foxx. I loved him in he movie Ray. This was the movie about famed blind musical artist Ray Charles and his ups and downs during his personal life and career. Jamie Foxx is such a great man. He is an actor, comedian, and musical artist. He also performed at the end of the Tonight Show. He was talking about how P. Diddy is going to throw him a huge birthday party in Las Vegas. he also talked about wanting to make a movie about the life story of boxer Mike Tyson. He also did a very funny impression of Mike Tyson. He also talked about how proud he was that Barack Obama was elected the first African American president. I think he is a great actor and musician. I really enjoyed watching last night’s episode of the Tonight Show.

Jay Leno’s News

Published by mcnally1 under The Tonight Show Edit This

Jay Leno will have a new show after he leaves the Tonight Show in May of 2009. There is no name yet for the show. It will air five days a week at 10 pm. I for one am so excited that Jay Leno is staying on television. I do not find Conan O’Brien or Jimmy Fallon funny at all. I have seen their works many times and Conan especially is not funny. Usually I watch the first five minutes of the Stephen Colbert show and switch to Jay Leno’s The Tonight Show. I will probably just watch the Stephen Colbert Show at 11:30 until midnight. The Tonight Show will not be funny with Conan O’Brien as host. I do not know why he even received the job when he already hosts his own show. I mean yes, hosting the Tonight Show has prestige but you already had your own late night show before so how will your show change. Is Kevin Eubanks sticking around though? I love Kevin Eubanks so much, he and Jay Leno are so funny together. What do you think of Jay’s new primet show news?

The Tonight Show Last Night

Published by mcnally1 under The Tonight Show Edit This

Last night, I watched the Tonight Show on NBC. Jay Leno had a lot of firefighters in his studio audience. Jay Leno always seems to care about people in public service. He had soldiers in his studio audience on Veterans Day and always commends the firefighters in his monologues lately. Jay Leno’s monologue was pretty funny as they always are. I still cannot believe that he won’t be on NBC much longer. I mean Conan O’Brien is not nearly as funny. It makes me bitter because I have watched Jay Leno on the Tonight Show for years. Heidi Klum was the first guest last night. She looked as beautiful as ever. She has a bag of lucky teeth, that was really weird but who am I to judge? She is always so fun and lively. She should get her own talk show. Then, Robert Pattinson was on the show. He talked about his movie and how he has an 1989 BMW. He has interesting hair.  Heidi Klum’s husband, who is a singer named Seal, ended the show by singing a song. He is a very good singer and you can tell that he really loves singing and his wife. It was a very good episode.

Last Night’s the Tonight Show

Published by mcnally1 under The Tonight Show Edit This

Last night I watched the Tonight Show. It was an okay episode. Jay Leno’s monologue was somewhat funny. He invited Jay Mohr to be one of his guests. Jay Mohr came out dressed in a pilgrim costume and was carrying a live turkey. It was not something I would wear especially on the Tonight Show. I mean you are trying to promote your CBS show, Gary Unmarried not land a part in  a Thanksgiving play on Broadway. Jay Mohr talked about his family and growing up in New Jersey. He talked about taking his family to Medieval Times. I did not find the interview that interesting. I preferred the part before with Steve Schrippa, that guys is very funny and can actually tell alot about people just by looking at them. It is truly amazing. I loved the final segment when Jay Leno cooked with the older woman. She talked and talked and talked. Jay Leno loves meeting older women and getting to know them. He had the fruit cake lady a few years ago and she answered questions and made everyone laugh. It was a decent episode. What did you think?

The Tonight Show

Published by mcnally1 under The Tonight Show Edit This

I watched the Tonight Show on November 11, 2008. John McCain was on and I have to say that he was quite charming. I mean he did not seem that bitter about losing the presidential election. I honestly think that John McCain is relieved that the presidential election is finally over. I mean it can be such a stressful thing to go through. His campaign did have a very negative theme but I am glad that John McCain is being nice and not bashing either Sarah Palin or President-Elect Barack Obama. I think John McCain should try and work together with President Elect Barack Obama. I think that he could do a lot for our troops since he is after all a war veteran and former prisoner of war. I am glad that John McCain is being a good sport and decided to visit Jay Leno. It was a fitting example of respect on Veteran’s Day. I love Jay Leno, he is such a classy stand up comedian and host. I will miss him when he leaves the Tonight Show in 2009. It will be hard to watch the show without him.
