The Shoe Clip

Published by mcnally1 at 12:01 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

The shoe clip of two shoes being thrown at President George W.Bush is on television every day. President Bush has also been doing interview in prime time trying to recoup his reputation. The two shoes being thrown at George W. Bush will be remembered by people forever. Why? Because many Americans are very dissatisfied with the way that George W. Bush has acted and governed during his eight years as President of the United States of America. People are frustrated. I mean the President is supposed to do what is best for the people of the country, and Bush never cared what people thought. I mean, you are supposed to listen what polls have to say and care about public opinion. When people wanted the Iraq war to end, he did not even care or listen to what people had to say. There were protests and rallies protesting the war. This is why people found the shoe throwing thing funny because we were not surprised that it happened.

Yeah I don’t know what to say I mean I am glad he wasn’t hurt, but I can also understand why it was done from another persons angle. I’m not saying I agree with it because violence is never right, but maybe this person was genuinely upset. They stil shouldn’t have thrown those shoes at him.
